Introduction:
At this time in the life of the Children of Israel they were experiencing great difficulties and famine. Severe difficulties and famine over time is considered to be a drought. As children of God, in famine we can experience God's favor...
While others are experiencing drought, God can cause you to experience divine favor as a result of your faithful obedience to Him!
Key Thought:
In difficulty or drought, respond by deepening your walk with God.
Key Thought:
We prosper when we recognize that God is present. ( Everywhere Isaac went, God prospered him.)
Other Examples; Joseph/ Moses/ Israel/ David/ Job - the list is endless!
Key Thought:
Gods favor falls on the faithful.
Give God praise for Favor!

It's not about the place, but God's presence.
Deuteronomy 28:3- you will be blessed in the city and in the country.

Release your faith & divine favor will follow you.

God will recover what the enemy has tried to ruin when you release your faith in your current circumstance/ situation.

God promotes us when we keep our faithful focus in our problems.

1. Isaac Built an Altar (Dedication to God)
Matthew 19:29- & everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or lands, for my name's sake, will receive a hundredfold and will inherit eternal life.
Colossians 3:17- and whatever you do everything in the name of the lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the father through him.
2. Isaac Pitched a Tent (Detachment from the world)
Romans 12:1-2-I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of our mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
3. Isaac Dug a Well (Dependence)
Proverbs 3: 4-5-So you will find favor and good success in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.
