Sermon Scripture:
Exodus 14:6-22... Sermon Title:
When Facing A Problem, Don't Panic, Pray!
Introduction:
The children of Israel had been delivered and set free from bondage by God and they were on their way to the promised land.
They turned and looked back and realized Pharaoh and his army was approaching them to destroy them and it looked as if their situation was impossible and they felt hopeless.
Instead of realizing that God makes the impossible, possible they expressed a lack of faith and they lost perspective.
Key thought:
Don't lose perspective in your problems, recognize that God has all power.
God rules, reigns and has all regency!
Key thought:
Mans power is no match for the power and might of God
Key thought:
When we give-in to our fears, we stop moving forward.
Key thought:
Spend less time complaining and more time trusting and seeking the will of God in our situations.
Key thought:
Lack of faith causes us to lose perspective
Key thought:
When we are fearful and afraid, it results in us abandoning our focus and faith.
Key thought:
Commit to standing on Gods promises in every problem.
Key thought:
God rescues those who rely on Him.
Key thought:
God makes the impossible, possible!
Key thought:
Depend on God and do not doubt and God will deliver.
Key thought:
Triumph is the result of trusting God in your trial.
Key thought:
Focusing on Gods faithfulness in our past helps us face crisis with confidence in our future.
Key thought:
Prayer is vital, but don't keep asking for guidance when God has already given you instruction... Don't postpone obedience by procrastinating... Faith without works is dead!
3 things to do when faced with a problem:
1. Pray.
2. Place your trust in God's plan.
3. Proceed.
If you have an intimate relationship with God, God can intervene.
If you don't have a personal intimate relationship with Jesus Christ, invite Him into your heart TODAY!
